He reminded anyone interested in advertising to contact Doug <br /> <br />Gibson at the Mustangs Office. <br /> <br />Council Member Roop moved to approve the following Consent Agenda <br /> <br />items (Attachment A); the motion was duly seconded and carried by the <br /> <br />following vote, with all members voting: Vote 5-0. Yeas (5) - Cobbe, Reynolds, <br /> <br />Roop, Ferrill, Clark. Nays (0) -None. <br /> <br />· Accept in FY06 budget $3,274 in the General Fund, $100 in <br />Donations and $24 in recovered costs--all to be used to purchase Fire <br />Supplies. $3,150 from the State for the Sheriff to purchase upgrades <br />for his fingerprint program. <br /> <br />· Accept in FY06 budget $2,591 in the Sewer Fund. Is an insurance <br />settlement to be used to repair a van. <br /> <br />· Accept in FY06 budget $12,902 in the Schools Fund. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark commented on the recent summit held with staff <br /> <br />and wanted to stress to citizens that Council members do not take their job <br /> <br />lightly and are trying to use good judgment in the decisions they make. He <br /> <br />also encouraged citizens to run for the council seat that will be vacant in the <br /> <br />upcoming election. Council Member Ferrill requested staff at the work session <br /> <br />scheduled for Thursday on reversion to give a brief history of the revenue <br /> <br />sources the City has and those that will be going away this fiscal year such as <br /> <br />the transfers from the refuse fund. This should help citizens understand why <br /> <br />we are studying the options of other sources of revenue to help the City remain <br /> <br />financially strong in the future.
