He suggested, also, considering removing the position of City Attorney from <br /> the Ordinance as it is a part-time position with no direct service to the citizens. Eric <br /> Monday, City Attorney, stated that there would be a "limited pool of applicants" for the <br /> position. Mayor Cobbe stated that he feels that the position should remain in the <br /> Ordinance. Regarding the VRS years of service, Council Member Roop stated that this <br /> could be seen as "meeting a specific need." The topic was placed on the next regular <br /> meeting agenda. <br /> <br /> A discussion ensued regarding a Resolution specifying those positions that <br /> would be subject to Ordinance 2004-17. Brief comments were made regarding the <br /> possible addition of the Clerk of Council position to the Resolution. The topic was <br /> placed on the next regular meeting agenda. <br /> <br /> Leon Towarnicki, Director of Public Works, presented the results Of a traffic <br />signal study at the intersection of Market and Moss Streets, stating that the intersection <br />"does not meet any condition for light installation." He added that the only other option <br />is advance warning signage. Administration will notify the citizen expressing the <br />concern. <br /> <br /> Wade Bartlett, Director of Finance & General Services, presented the financial <br />report for month ending June 30, 2004. He stated that the auditors have already visited <br />and their final report is expected in November 2004. <br /> <br /> A discussion ensued regarding the City Manager's request to re-appropriate <br />funds in the FY04 budget to the FY05 budget and approve an FY05 budget adjustment. <br />The topic was placed on the next regular meeting agenda. <br /> <br /> <br />
