May 11,2004 <br /> <br />vote, with all members voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Cobbe, Dallas, Ferrill, Roop, <br />Teague; Nays (0) - None. <br /> <br /> Following the invocation by Vice Mayor Roop and Pledge to the American Flag, <br />Mayor Teague welcomed everyone to the meeting. <br /> <br /> Council Member Ferrill moved to approve the minutes of the April 26, 2004, <br />meeting as presented; the motion was duly seconded and carried by the following vote, <br />with all members voting: Vote 5 - 0: Yeas (5) - Cobbe, Dallas, Ferrill, Roop, Teague; <br />Nays (0) - None. <br /> <br /> Council considered authorizing the Mayor to execute the revised Consortium <br />Agreement of the West Piedmont Workforce Investment Area. Becky Aydlett, Executive <br />Director, reviewed the minor revisions. Council Member Ferrill moved to authorize the <br />Mayor to execute such; the motion was duly seconded and carried by the following vote, <br />with all members voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Cobbe, Dallas, Ferrill, Roop, Teague; <br />Nays (0) - None. <br /> <br /> Council considered discussion of Ordinance 2004-8, amending certain sections <br /> of Article Ill, Public Dances of Chapter 4 of the City Code. Wade Bartlett, Interim City <br /> Manager, stated that this Ordinance will (1) increase the application time; (2) adds a <br /> nonrefundable fee for inspections; and (3) adds time for City Manager to respond. Vice <br /> Mayor Roop moved to set a public hearing for May 25, 2004; the motion was duly <br /> seconded and carried by the following vote, with all members voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas <br /> (5) - Cobbe, Dallas, Ferrill, Roop, Teague; Nays (0) - None. <br /> <br /> Council considered public comment and adoption of an EMS Transport Program <br /> and authorizing the Interim City Manager to execute a RSAF grant application for the <br /> <br /> <br />
