S. Department of <br />Commerce Economic Development Administration. Tom Hamed, Director of Economic <br />Development, stated that this is an annual requirement and that all previous Priority 3 <br />projects had been deleted from the list. Vice Mayor Roop moved to adopt the list and to <br />authorize the City Manager to transmit such information as presented; the motion was <br />duly seconded and carried by the following vote, with all members voting: Vote 5 - 0; <br />Yeas (5) - Cobbe, Dallas, Ferrill, Roop, Teague; Nays (0) - None. Mr. Harned <br />reported, also, that Tobacco Commission grant money is available for the West Church <br />Street Corridor project that will not commit the City to funding. Council Member Dallas <br />moved to authorize such application; the motion was duly seconded and carried by the <br />following vote, with all members voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Cobbe, Dallas, Ferrill, <br />Roop, Teague; Nays (0) - None. <br /> <br /> Council considered business from the floor.
