AGENDA ADDENDUM <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />CITY OF MARTINSVILLE, VIRGINIA <br /> <br />City Council Chamber - Municipal Building <br /> 7:00 P.M. - Tuesday, May 9, 2000 <br /> <br />IX. <br /> <br />Consider, in Closed Session, in accordance with the Code of Virgi- <br />nia, Chapter 21--Freedom of Information Act, Section 2.1-344(A)-- <br />Executive or Closed Meetings, the following: <br /> <br />B. Discussion of a specific appointee by City Council, as <br /> authorized by Subsection 1. <br /> <br />C. Briefing by legal counsel, as authorized by Subsection 7. <br /> <br />Consider authorizing the Mayor to execute an Agreement with <br />Henry County extending their use of the City's Landfill from July l, <br />2001 to June 30, 2003. (See Enclosure #8) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: We currently have an Agreement that allows Henry <br />County to use the City's Landfill through June 30, 2001. In dis- <br />cussions with Henry County regarding this arrangement, they have <br />asked for this extension of the current Agreement. We recommend <br />that Council authorize the Mayor to execute the amended Agree- <br />ment under the same terms and conditions. <br /> <br />City Manager <br />May 9, 2000 <br /> <br /> <br />
