Boaz. <br /> <br />kfter tbe invocation, Council approved as read the minllte~; of its regular meeting <br /> <br />held February 28, 1961. <br /> <br />City I'I~anaqer Hirst presented Cl. letter from the Vice-President and General :'\lanar::er <br /> <br />of the Appalachian Power Company, adVising that the City's r(~cent offer (of <br /> <br />.$hO,201.00--see minutes of Februa.ry 16, 1961) for the nurchase of Apnalachian's <br /> <br />electric facilities in the area annexed to the City as of January 1, 1960 is not <br /> <br />a.cceptable to Appalachian and, further, sUsF:estiq; that the quest.ion of value of <br /> <br />the~;(' facilities be arb:.trated by the state Corporation Commission.
