Hurrell, for

permission to use his property on Moss Street--presently zoned "residential"--

as a dent8,1 laboratory, which request was referred to the Planning Commission,

the Commission by written report recommended (1) that a category permitting

dental processing laboratories be placed in the "P-2 ProfessionaJII classifi-

cation in the City's Zoning Ordinance and (2) that Mr. Hurrell be granted a

special use permit as established in Section 8, Paragraph 5 of said ordinance,

inasmuch as currently there is no zoning classification in the Zoning

Ordinance with which Mr. Hurrell's laboratory might be clearly identified.

Upon motion, the Council unanimously accepted the Commission's recommendation

and called for a duly-advertised public hearing, on the recommended Zoning

Ordinance amendment, to be held at Council's regular meeting scheduled for

November 10, 1964, at which time Council will determine whether sufficient

off-street parking is to be provided by Mr. Hurrell for his dental laboratory

operation.

In considering a petition filed by Mr. J.
