<br />1: <br /> <br />TUESDAY <br /> <br />MAY 14, 1963 <br /> <br />^-- <br /> <br />The regular semi-monthly meeting of the Council of the City of Martins\rille, Virginia, <br /> <br />with Mayor J. Frank Wilson presiding, was held in the Council Chamber, City Hall, <br /> <br />Tuesday, May 14, 1963, beginning at 7:30 P.M., all members of Council being present, <br /> <br />viz., Mayor J. Frank Wilson; Vice-Mayor Fred T. Renick; Harry L. Boaz; Thomas J. <br /> <br />Burch; and E. E. Stone. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />After the invocation, Council approved as recorded the minutes of its regular meeting <br /> <br />held April 23, 1963, and of its special meeting held May 6, 1963. <br /> <br />Pursuant to duly-advertised public notice, Council conducted a public hearing on a <br /> <br />proposal--already approved by the City Planning Commission--to rezone to IfP-2 <br /> <br />Professional" all property (not already so zoned) owned by Fifteen Cleveland, Inc., <br /> <br />and identified as being located east of the east side of Cleveland Avenue at 15 <br /> <br />Cleveland Avenue, and, also, those properties identified as 19 Cleveland Avenue, <br /> <br />23 Cleveland Avenue, and 25 Cleveland Avenue fronting on the east side of Cleveland <br /> <br />Avenue. There being no objections registered, Council unanimously accepted the <br /> <br />Planning Commission's recommendations thereon and adopted the following ordinance <br /> <br />effecting the "P-2 Professionallf classification and amending the City's Zoning Code <br /> <br />and Zoning Map accordingly: <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Martinsville, Virginia, in <br />regular meeting assembled this fourteenth day of May, 1963, that the Zoning <br />Code and Zoning Map of the City of Martinsville be and are hereby amended <br />to classify as IfP-2 Professional!! all that property owned by Fifteen <br />Cleveland, Inc., not already so zoned, located east and southeast of 15 <br />Cleveland Avenue, and also those properties fronting on Cleveland klenue <br />identified as 19 Cleveland Avenue, 23 Cleveland Avenue, and 25 Cleveland <br />Avenue lyIng between the east side of Cleveland Avenue and the west <br />boundary of property owned by said Fifteen Cleveland, Inc., thus applying <br />a !!P-2 Professionallf zoning classification to all property on Cleveland <br />Avenue owned by said Fifteen Cleveland, Inc., Mr. Ernest T. Frith, Mrs. <br />Louise Rimmer; and Mrs. Mamie G. Lambeth. <br />
