Gene Teague <br /> <br />Pledge to the American flag <br /> <br />Consider approval of the minutes of City Council's meetings of <br />September 5 and 10, 2002. (See Enclosures #1-a and #l-b) <br /> <br />Conduct the Town Meeting. (See Enclosure #2) <br /> <br />Consider adoption, on second reading, of an Ordinance on a request by <br />the City of Martinsville to rezone Parcel 33-03-0-08 located at 120 Maple <br />Street from M-2 Industrial to R-6 Residential. (See Enclosure #3) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: Council conducted its Public Hearing on September 10, <br />2002 and considered an Ordinance on first reading on the request by the <br />City to rezone six lots known as 119-123 and 125 Maple Street, Tax Map <br />ID 33(03)O/08,0'9.and 33(03}P/10, 11,12,13, from M-2 Industrial to R-6 <br />Residential. Following said Public Hearing, Council voted to amend said <br />Ordinance and rezone only Parcel 33-03-0-08. We recommend adoption <br />of this amended Ordinance on second reading. <br /> <br />Conduct a public hearing and consider adoption of an Ordinance on a <br />request by the Martinsville Planning Commission to amend Section X.L., <br />R-6 Residential District, Section X.H., R-9 Residential District, and <br />Section XI. L, RP-1 Professional District of the zoning ordinance. <br /> <br />COMMENTS: The Planning Commission will conduct its public hearing <br />on Tuesday, the 24th, and will furnish a letter of recommendation at your <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Conduct a public hearing and consider adoption of an Ordinance on a <br />request from Troy E. Rakes, to rezone 602 and 604 Rives Road, Tax Map <br />ID 53(02) 14,15, from R-9 Residential to C-1 Commercial and amend the <br />proposed Land Use Plan to indicate Commercial rather than the current <br />designation of Residential.
