Council decided to continue the
Public Hearing until this meeting to allow more time for citizens to
express interest and it has been properly advertised, but we have
not received any response. If there are no new names submitted at
the June 26 meeting, Council may make an appointment from the
three previous citizens interviewed at this meeting. If there are
additional citizens to be considered, then Council will have to wait
seven days before an appointment can be made. Thus, a special
meeting would have to be called or wait until the July 10 meeting
to make the appointment.
