VII. <br /> <br />VIII. <br /> <br />Consider the follOwing matters related to the City's FisCal Year <br />2001-2002 'Budget: <br /> <br />Adoption, on second reading, of Ordinance No. 2001-4 esta- <br />blishing the City's Fiscal Year 2001-2002 Budget and tax rates. <br />(See Enclosure #6-a) <br /> <br />Adoption of a Resolution agreeing to 'participation by City <br />employees in the Virginia Retirement System's full unreduced <br />early retirement program for employees 50 years of age with 30 <br />years of service. (See Enclosure #6-b) <br /> <br />Consider adoption of a Resolution establishing and prioritizing the <br />City's request to the Virginia Department of Transportation's Six- <br />Year Improvement Program for funding four urban highway <br />projects. (See Enclosure #7) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: We recommend Council adopt the Resolution as <br />prepared and explained in Mr. Harned's memorandum to the City <br />Manager. <br /> <br />Consider adoption of a Resolution supporting an environmental <br />impact review of the Martinsville Generation Facility (CINCAP Mar- <br />tinsville, LLC) in Commerce Court Industrial Park by the Virginia <br />Department of Environmental Quality. (See Enclosure #8) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: We recommend that Council adopt the Resolution <br />as prepared. Mr. Tom Harned will be prepared to answer any <br />questions regarding this request. <br /> <br />IX. STAFF REPORTS: <br /> <br />A.
