(See Enclosure # 1) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: These employees will not be at the meeting, but the <br />Mayor will read the list. <br /> <br />Recognition of Nominees for the 2001 First-Quarter Service Excel* <br />lence Award and announcement of Quarterly Winner. <br />(See Enclosure #2) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: These employees have been invited to the meeting. <br /> <br />Recognition of 2000 Quarterly Winners eligible for the 2000 <br />Annual Service Excellence Award and announcement of Annual <br />Winner. (See Enclosure #2) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: These employees have been invited to the meeting. <br /> <br />Consider a presentation by the M-HC Chamber of Commerce to the <br />City for the City's booth having been awarded "Best in Show" for <br />Fast Track 2001 Business Trade Show--S500 being donated to the <br />William L. Slate Memorial Scholarship Fund established by City <br />employees at Patrick Henry Community College. <br /> <br />COMMENTS: The Chamber provides a $500 donation to the <br />charity of the winner's choice. During your March 13 meeting, <br />Council designated this donation to go to the Scholarship Fund at <br />PHCC that was established by certain City employees following the <br />accidental death while on the job of City employee William Slate. <br />Ms. Kim Adkins, Executive Director of the Chamber, will make this <br />presentation. She has invited a representative from the College <br />and a member of the Slate family to attend for this presentation. <br /> <br /> <br />
