AGENDA ADDENDUM <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />CITY .OF MARTINSVILLE, VIRGINIA <br /> <br />City Council Chamber- Municipal Building <br />7:30 P.M. -Tuesday, March 13, 2001 <br /> <br />VII. <br /> <br />XI. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA: <br /> <br />Accept and appropriate $150,000 from the Governor's Oppor- <br />tunity Fund into Revenue 16 10 19 17-416610--Governor's <br />Opportunity Fund/Nationwide for $30,000 into Expenditure <br />16582372-503140--Construction Services and $120,000 into <br />Expenditure 16582372-508160--Construction in the Capital <br />Reserve Fund of the City's FY2000-2001 Budget. <br /> <br />Consider authorizing the City Manager to execute a Notice of <br />Award accepting Carnell Construction Corporation's bid of <br />$101,441 for site development of Rives Road Industrial Park for <br />expansion of Nationwide Homes. (See Enclosure # 11) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: As you will note, six contractors submitted bids to <br />do this site work, ranging in price from $101,441 to $198,875. <br />The cost of this will come from the $150,000 Governor's Oppor- <br />tunity Fund for Nationwide Homes. We recommend that Council <br />authorize this award to Carnell Construction Corporation for <br />$101,441. <br /> <br />Earl B.
