V. 'rloodson presiding, was held in the Council Chamber, <br /> <br />City Hall, on Tuesday, April 9, 1957, at 7:30 P.M., all members being present, <br /> <br />as follows: Mayor end Councilman F. V. Woodson; Vice-Hayor and Councilman <br /> <br />John W. Shultz; and Councilmen B. H. Hill, E. E. stone, and J. R. l.Jalker. <br /> <br />After the invocation, Council approved as read the minutes of i.ts regular <br /> <br />,-' <br /> <br />meeting held March 26, 1957. <br /> <br />Upon recommendation of the Martinsville Volunteer Fire Company, Council <br /> <br />approved the following "House Rules end Regulations" governing the use of <br /> <br />the Volunteer Fire Company's cottage on the City's water i'~pounding reservoir <br /> <br />m.I"@ <br />i~~ <br />,t2 <br />,'= <br />, = <br /> <br />property: <br /> <br />1. The following and their accompanying guests are authorized to <br />use these facilities. <br /> <br />(a) Regular members of the Martinsville Volunteer Fire Company. <br /> <br />(b) Regular members of the Martinsville Fire Department. <br /> <br />(c) Honorary members of the Martinsville Fire Department. <br /> <br />(d) Martinsv1l1e City Department Heads, when granted prior <br />approval by the House Committee. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />2. The keys shall be kept at the Main Street Fire Station and be <br />signed out and in by the indi vidual 1~ sing the cabin. <br /> <br />3. The cabin will be used primarily for functions of the Fire <br />Department; however, it may be used by individuals and their <br />guests when reservation is made in advance with the Chairman <br />of the House Committee. <br /> <br />4. The person signing out the keys will be responsible for the care <br />of the facilities, policing, and lee,ving the cottage in good order. <br /> <br />5. Any damage shall be reported to the House Corr~ttee. <br /> <br />6. The facilities will in no instance be open after 1: 00 a.m., unle 5S <br />special permission from the House Committee is obtained in advance. <br /> <br />7. Fishing activities will terminate by one hour after sUlset. <br /> <br />8. "'he TYouse Connn~ ttee shall 'he respnnsible for all m~dnten~nce of tl'1e <br />cottage and grounds. <br />
