144 <br /> <br /> TUESDAY~ September 25~ 2001 <br /> <br />A regular, semi-monthly meeting of the Council of the City of Martinsville, Virginia, with Dr. Mark A. <br /> <br />Crabtree, Mayor, presiding, was held Tuesday, September 25, 2001, in the Conference Room of the Virginia <br />Museum of Natural History, 1001 Douglas Avenue, Martinsville, Virginia, beginning at 7:30 P.M. The <br />following members of Council were present: Dr. Mark A. Crabtree, Mayor; M. Gene Teague, Vice-Mayor; <br />Bruce H.T. Dallas, Ronald Ferdll, and Terry L. Roop. <br /> <br />After the invocation, provided by Vice-Mayor Teague, Council moved upon motion duly seconded, with all <br />members voting: Vote 5-0; Yeas (5)- Crabtree, Teague, Dallas, Ferrill, and Roop; Nays (0)- None, the <br />adoption of the Minutes of the August 28 and September 11, 2001 Meetings, as amended. <br /> <br />Council publicly recognized City Employees receiving Service Awards, July - September 2001.
