Mayor Crabtree asked, "How are performance <br />evaluations handled?" Ms. Read replied, "First, there's the 30~60~90 evaluation, done at <br />the respective days of service. Then, an evaluation is done each fall and spring. We <br />don't have a lot of turnover." City Manager Earl B. Reynolds, Jr., stated, "Any pay and <br />classification system is dynamic. No matter what you do, some will be delighted and <br />some will not." Vice Mayor Teague stated, "I've heard from the majority of Council that <br />there needs to be a performance component and the pay plan needs to be enhanced to <br />incorporate career development." Council Member Roop stated, "We're in a better <br />position to develop a plan than outside consultants." <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before Council during their work <br /> session meeting, upon motion by Council Member Roop, duly seconded, by unanimous <br /> vote, Mayor Crabtree declared the meeting adjourned at 11:55 A.
