City Standard No. i and City Standard No. 2 shall govern the installation of water and sewer utilities respectively. (5) Before and after lines are covered, they shall meet city public works department inspection and approval. (6) Pavement base shall be five (5) inches of compacted stone. (7) Streets will be paved to width of conformity with state department of highways and transportation requirements. (8) Plans and profiles of water and sewer lines shall be prepared and submitted to the City, both before construction and after completion of construction, for the permanent records of the city public works department. (Code 1971, App. D, §§ 2, 3) Sec. 23-46. Requirements for water extensions along streets in state system. The construction of water line extensions along paved streets or roadways that are within the primary or secondary system of the state department of highways and transportation shall require conformity with subparagraphs (2), (4), (5) and (8) of section 23-45(b) and when property abutting on such streets or roadways is subdivided or resubdivided after December 17, 1957, such subdivision or resubdivision shall be in accordance with the design standards of section VI of the subdivision ordinance and subject to approval by the city planning commis- sion as provided in subparagraph (1) of section 25-45Co).
