The floors shall have a minimum pitch of three (3) inches in ten <br />(10) feet to the drains, with no low spots which will allow water to stand. The floors shall be <br />ventilated so that the floors do not remain damp or wet between periods when the swimming <br />pool is in use. <br /> <br /> (b) Showers shall be provided at public swimming pools in the proportion of one for each <br />forty (40) persons at the time of maximum load. Each shower shall supply an adequate <br />quantity of heated water through a' device that will prevent scalding. Drainage from each <br />shower shall be such as to prevent water from one shower draining across the floor area of <br />another. Showers shall be so located that the bathers will normally pass them on their way to <br />the pool or have directional signs in the dressing area indicating their location. <br /> <br /> (c) A minimum of two (2) water closets for females and one water closet and one urinal for <br />males shall be provided at a public swimming pool. The urinals and water closets shall be so <br />located that the bathers will pass them on their way to the pool, or have directional signs in <br />the dressing area indicating their location. <br /> <br /> (d) A minimum of one lavatory for females and one lavatory for males shall be provided <br />for public swimming pools. Each lavatory shall be provided with suitable facilities for making <br />soap available. <br /> <br /> (e) Motels and other transient guest establishments with Type "D" public swimming <br />pools and which provide private toilet and bathing facilities in each guest unit and which <br />restrict the use of the swimming pool to occupant guests and employees, shall be exempt from <br />the requirements of this section. <br />(Ord. of 5-10-77, § 9-1.12) <br /> <br />1199 <br /> <br />[The next page is 1249] <br /> <br /> <br />
