<br />~ 12-11 <br /> <br />MARTINSVILLE CODE <br /> <br />the reasonable expenses of an emergency response to an accident or incident not <br />involving impaired driving, operation of a vehicle or other conduct as set forth herein. <br />(Ord. Record of traffic violations and infractions. <br /> <br />The police department shaIl keep a record of all violations and infractions of the provisions <br />of this chapter and other ordinances of the city relative to motor vehicles and traffic, except <br />stopping, standing or parking violations, and of the state vehicle laws of which any person has <br />been charged by an officer of the department, together with a record of the final disposition of <br />all such aIleged violations and infractions. <br />(Code 1971, ~ 10-156) <br /> <br />Sec. 12-13. Traffic accident reports and records generally. <br /> <br />(a) The police department shaIl maintain a system offlling traffic accident reports. Accident <br />reports shaIl be filed alphabeticaIly by location, and cards referring to the reports shail be filed <br />alphabetically by driver. <br /> <br />(b) AIl reports referred to in subsection (a) above, including the report of the police officer <br />and including any photographs taken by investigating police officers, shaIl be available for <br />inspection by any person involved or injured in the accident or his attorney or any authorized <br />representative of any insurance carrier reasonably anticipating exposure to civil liability as a <br />consequence of the accident. <br /> <br />Supp. No. 58 <br /> <br />718.2 <br />
