Parking vehicle with no state license plate. <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to park any motor vehicle on any public street or highway <br />or in any municipal parking lot without a valid state license plate or tag affixed to such vehicle. <br />COrd. of 2-24-81,.~ 10-84) <br /> <br />Sec. 12-94. Parking between 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. generally. <br /> <br />Except on a street or highway, or a portion thereof, in an area zoned as a residential district, <br />no person shall park any vehicle and leave it parked on any public street or highway for the <br />continuous period between 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. <br />COrd. of 2-24-81, ~ 10-86) <br /> <br />Sec. 12-95. Parking not to obstruct traffic. <br /> <br />No person shall park any vehicle upon a public street or highway in such a manner or under <br />such conditions as to leave available less than twelve (12) feet of width of the roadway for the <br />free movement of vehicular traffic. <br />COrd. of 2-24-81, ~ 10-87) <br /> <br />Sec. 12-97. Parking in fire lanes and other prohibited areas in private parking lots. <br /> <br />No person shall park any vehicle in any privately owned parking lot open to the public, <br />where such lot is designed to accommodate fifty (50) or more vehicles, at any place in such <br />parking lot where signs prohibiting such parking have been erected or placed or where "no <br />parking" or "fire lane" signs have been erected or placed or where such legends have been <br />painted in conspicuous yellow letters on the pavement adjacent to such areas defined by <br />painted yellow lines. The owner of any such private parking lot shall have the sole <br />responsibility for furnishing, erecting or placing any such signs or markings. <br />COrd. of 2-24-81, ~ 10-88) <br /> <br />Sec. 12-98. Parking in spaces reserved for persons with disabilities. <br /> <br />/~. <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for a vehicle not displaying disabled parking license plates, an <br />organizational removable windshield placard, a permanent removable windshield placard, or <br />a temporary removable windshield placard issued under section 46.2-1241 of the Code of <br />Virginia or DV disabled parking license plates issued under subsection B of section 46.2-739 <br />of the Code of Virginia, to be parked in a parking space located anywhere within the city and <br /> <br />Supp. No. 49 <br /> <br />733 <br />
