City Manager <br />Reynolds replied, "Your request is very timely. The East End is next in the <br />Comprehensive Plan." Vice Mayor Teague requested that Thomas Harned, Assistant <br />City Manager for Development, meet with Mr. Wright. <br /> <br /> Tony Rinaldi, Director of Leisure Services, stated, "1 invite everyone to the <br />basketball game, Harlem Rockets vs. Martinsville All-Stars, Monday, February 7, 2000, <br />7:00 P. M., Martinsville Middle School. All money raised will go to the recreation <br />department." <br /> <br /> Council considered authorizing the City Manager to execute a Deed conveying <br />City-owned property known as Lot 34 on Railroad Street being sold to Bernie F. Gray, <br />Jr. City Manager Reynolds stated, "In November 1999, City Council conducted a Public <br />Hearing. We received an offer from Mr. Gray for the assessed value of $7,100. Vice <br />Mayor Teague moved to authorize the City Manager to execute the conveyance Deed; <br />the motion was duly seconded and carried by the following vote, with all members <br />voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Crabtree, Dallas, Haskell, Roop, Teague; Nays (0) - <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br /> <br />
