Set a Public Hearing for February 22, 2000, on a request by <br /> CFW-Intelos for a Special Use Permit to construct a <br /> telecommunications monopole at Bridge and South Moss <br /> Streets. <br /> <br /> Council considered the need to meet in Closed Session. In accordance with <br /> Section 2.1-344 (A) of the Code of Virginia (1950, and as amended) and upon motion <br /> by Vice Mayor Teague, duly seconded, and by unanimous recorded vote, Council <br /> convened in Closed Session, for the purpose of discussing the following matters: <br /> <br /> A. Appointments to various Boards/Commissions, as <br /> authorized in Subsection 1. <br /> 1. Comprehensive Services Act Community' Policy & <br /> Management Team. <br /> 2. Southern Area Agency on Aging Board. <br /> B. Discuss a prospective business or industry or expansion of <br /> an existing business or industry where no previous <br /> announcement has been made of the business' or industry's <br /> interest in locating or expanding its facilities in the <br /> community as authorized by Subsection 5. <br /> C. Consultation with legal counsel retained by Council <br /> regarding specific legal matters requiring the provision of <br /> legal advice, as authorized in Subsection 7. <br /> <br /> At the conclusion of this Closed Session, each member of Council certified that <br /> (1) only public business-matters exempt from open meeting requirements were <br /> discussed in said Closed Session; and (2) only those business matters identified in the <br /> <br /> <br />
