November 9, 1999 <br /> <br />Following their return to open meeting, Council took the action below, by the <br /> <br />following vote: <br /> <br />Consultation with legal counsel retained by Council regarding <br />specific legal matters requiring the provision of legal advice, as <br />authorized in Subsection 7. <br />Vice Mayor Teague moved to set a Public Hearing for November <br />23, 1999, concerning the disposal of certain real estate owned by <br />the City of Martinsville consisting of all of the remaining parcels in <br />the Clearview Business Park and of that parcel fronting on <br />Brookdale Road by the conveyance of same to the Martinsville <br />Redevelopment and Housing Authority; the motion was duly <br />seconded and carried by the following vote, with all members <br />voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Crabtree, Dallas, Haskell, Roop, <br />Teague; Nays (0) - None; Absent (0) - None. <br />Possible disposition of publicly held real property, as authorized in <br />Subsection 3. <br />Council Member Roop moved to set a Public Hearing for November <br />23, 1999, concerning the disposal of certain real estate owned by <br />the City of Martinsville and known as Lot 34 on Railway Street by <br />the conveyance of same at public or pdvate sale; the motion was <br />duly seconded and carried by the following vote, with all members <br />voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Crabtree, Dallas, Haskell, Roop, <br />Teague; Nays (0) - None; Absent (0) - None. <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before Council during their regular <br /> <br />meeting, upon motion by Council Member Haskell, duly seconded, by unanimous vote, <br /> <br />Mayor Crabtree declared the meeting adjourned at 8:46 P.
