The Amendment would allow for expanded coverage of the County's East and West zones to include additional acreage in the Patriot Centre at Beaver Creek, and a 70-acre parcel along Rives Road. Council Member Roop moved to approve the following Consent Agenda Items; the motion was duly seconded and carried by the following vote, with all present members voting: Vote 4 - 0; Yeas (4) - Dallas, Haskell, Roop, Teague; Nays (0) - None; Absent (1) - Crabtree. C= Accepted and appropriated $100 from Martinsville BPO Elks Lodge No. 1752 as a donation for the Martinsville Transportation Safety Commission's Bike Rodeo into Revenue Account 01100908 - Donations/Bike Rodeo for Expenditure Account 01311085-503170 -in the General Fund. Set a public hearing for August 24, 1999, on a request by Annie Bell King to rezone 907 Morgan Street from R-9 Residential to C-1 Commercial and to amend the Land Use Map.
