Council Member Roop, also Executive Director, stated, "Five alternatives <br />exist--two would close the Piedmont Academy or at least take away State funding, two <br />others provided for affiliations, and the other one provided funding per officer per <br />training. The State provides $126,212; closure would not provide savings to the State-- <br />the money would go from' our community to some other."
