Enclosure #1 <br /> <br /> TUESDAY, DECEMBER 14, 1999 <br /> <br /> A regular, semi-monthly meeting of the Council of the City of Martinsville, <br />Virginia, was held on December 14, 1999, in the Fellowship Hall of Forest Hills <br />Presbyterian Church, beginning at 7:00 P. M., with Mayor Mark Crabtree presiding. <br />Council Members present included: Mark A. Crabtree, Mayor; M. Gene Teague, Vice <br />Mayor; and Council Members Bruce H. T. Dallas, Elizabeth H. Haskell, and Terry L. <br /> <br />Roop. - <br /> <br /> Following delivery of the invocation by Vice Mayor Teague, Mayor Crabtree <br /> <br />welcomed everyone to the meeting and recognized former Mayor George Adams. <br /> <br /> Council Member Dallas moved to approve, as amended, the Minutes of the <br />November 23, 1999, meeting; the motion was duly seconded and carried by the <br />following 'vote, with all members voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Crabtree, Dallas, <br />Haskell, Roop, Teague; Nays (0) - None. <br /> <br /> Council recognized the City's Flag Football Team, who ware the champions in <br />the Henry County program: Vincent Dandddge, Coach; Linnell Hairston, Assistant <br />Coach; Christopher Hughes, Dotion Dunbar, Arthur Dandridge, Victor Hairston, Tyler <br />Woolridge, Ameche Pettie, Latriece Pettie, Cameron Green, Tracy Hairston, De Chane · <br />Hairston, Dominique Holland, Joseph Gravely, John Hughes, Carniece Greene, Justin <br /> <br />Woolridge, and DeAngelo Wilson. Coach Dandridge stated, "These players gave their <br />whole 100%. Additionally, five were on the honor roll, and three were on the teachers' <br />list." <br /> <br /> Council recognized members of the Martinsville-Henry County Rescue Squad <br />who received their Cardiac Technician certifications: Tommy Cook, John Potter, and <br /> <br /> <br />
