TUESDAY, APRIL 27, 1999 The City Council reasonably expects on the date hereof that it will reimburse the Expenditures from the proceeds of the Lease Obligations. The maximum principal amount of the Lease Obligations expected to be issued for the Equipment is $1,021,700. 8. The recitals to this resolution are hereby incorporated by reference and are declared to be legislative findings of the City Council in connection with the City Council's decision to acquire and finance the Equipment. 9. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon its adoption. The members of the City Council voted as follows on the foregoing Resolution: Ayes Mark A. Cribtree M. Gene Teague Terry L. Dallas Nays None Abstained Absent None None Date of Adoption: April 27, 1999 The undersigned certifies that the foregoing constitutes a true and correct extract from the minutes of a meeting of the City Council held on April 27, 1999, and of the whole thereof so far as applicable to the matters referred to in such abstract. The undersigned further certifies that such meeting was a regularly called meeting and that, during the consideration of the foregoing Resolution, a quorum was present, and that the above resolution has not been repealed or amended and remains in full force and effect. Council next considered adoption of a Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute an Agreement with the City of Danville, the Counties of Halifax, Henry, Mecklenburg, Patrick and Pittsylvania regarding the use of the W. W. Moore Juvenile Detention Home in Danville as a regional facility following the proposed addition and renovation. Council then voted to adopt the following resolution by the following vote, all members voting: Vote: 5-0 Yeas: (5) Crabtree, Dallas, Haskell, Roop, Teague. Nays: (0) None
