TUESDAY, APRIL 26, 1988 <br /> <br />In conclusion, Council called for a duly-convened special meeting of the <br />Council to be conducted ~uesday, May 3, 1988, in the Council Chamber, City <br />Hall, beginning at 2:00 P.M., for the purposes of continuing its study of City <br />Manager Brown's proposed reductions therein (excluding the School budget) as <br />well as other reductions members of Council have already suggested or may <br />suggest, and such other matters related to the budget f-or 1988-89 as Council <br />may deem appropriate, including additional 'directions the Council may decide to <br />give thereon to the City Manager, and possibly to set a date for a required <br />duly-advertised public hearing on the proposed budget, as it may be amended. <br /> <br />Mayor Oakes then declared this meeting adjourned. <br /> <br /> <br />
