468, <br /> <br />TUESDAY. SEPTEMBER 25, 1990 <br /> <br />have been mailed to the owners placing them on notice to clean up <br />within 15 days or the City will do the required cleanup work and <br />bill them for the cost. <br /> <br />Mayor McClain noted that a revised draft of a job description for <br />the Martinsville Clerk of Council had been circulated with <br />Council'sagenda material.and requested that it be appended to the <br />minutes of the meeting. <br /> <br />Councilman Willjams reported that he had attended a meeting of the <br />Coalition for Equity in Educational Funding and that the Coalition <br />intends to procure legal services to explore possible action <br /> <br />against the State° <br /> <br />='Mayor McClain, noting a September 16, 1990 editorial in the <br />Martinsville Bulletin, requested that the City Manager make a <br />report to Council regarding the steps which City Council has taken <br />to address each of the issues noted by the editorial. Several <br />members of Council requested that the report beexpanded to include <br />an evaluation of all issues which were raised in the City Manager's <br />earlier evaluation of the Rating Guide to Life in America's Small <br />Cities° <br /> <br />Mayor McClain reported that he had received a call from Ted Ussery, <br />Ii311 Chatham Heights, regarding a problem with the sidewalk in <br />front of his property and requested that the staff look into the <br /> <br /> <br />
