TUESDAY, JULY 10, 1990 <br /> <br />commended, Mr, Brown and Mr, Dyches for their efforts in achieving <br />la solution to this problem, <br /> <br /> Vice-Mayor Groden noted a large pile of debris in front of the <br /> Goodwill Store on Church Street, Mr, Brown said he would <br /> investigate the situation, <br /> <br />Councilman Williams reported that a citizen had complained to him <br />about young people congregating at night at the car wash at Fayette <br />Street and Memorial Boulevard, Chief of Police Terry Roop reported <br />· that he~had spoken with the citizen on several occasions and that <br />he would do so again, <br /> <br />Councilman Williams noted the presence of vegetative growth in <br />front of a building on Fayette Street which had been seized by the <br />~-Federal Government, Mr, BroWn said that the City would cut the <br />vegetation, <br /> <br />Councilman Williams reported that a citizen residing on 2nd Street <br />had complained to him about =vegetative growth on an undeveloped <br />section of "C"Street from 2nd to.lst Street, Mr, Brown said he <br />would~check into the situation, <br /> <br />Councilman Williams stated that he did not feel the City was <br />benefitting from the Central Piedmont Employment Consortium and <br />that~. the .agency was ~not~ properly assisting its clientele in <br /> <br /> <br />
