TUSSDAY, JUNS 23, 1992 <br />reconvened into regular session, wherein, by a recorded vote, each <br />member of Council certified that (1) only public business matters <br />exempted from open meeting requirements were discussed in said <br />=xecutive Session; and (2) only those business matters identified in <br />the motion convening the Executive Session were heard, discussed or <br />considered during said Session. <br /> <br />Council took no action on the first item discussed in Executive <br />Session. <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and by unanimous vote, Council appointed Mr. <br />Robert J. Maricich, 919 Mulberry Road, to a 4-year term on the M-HC EDC <br />Board of Directors beginning July 1, 1992. <br /> <br />Council conducted a public hearing and considered approval of a request <br />by Alta Kitson to rezone Lot 11 located at 307 East Church Street, from <br />P-2 Professional to C-1A Commercial. There being no comments from any <br />person present, Mayor McClain declared the public hearing closed. Upon <br />motion, duly seconded and by unanimous vote, Council voted to follow <br />the Planning Commission's recommendation on this matter to deny the <br />rezoning request. <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and by unanimous vote, Council adopted, on <br />second reading, the following Ordinance No. 92-10 amending Chapter 13 <br />Offenses--Miscellaneous, Section 13-40 Going-out-of-business sale <br />permits, Subsection (d) Duration; additional permits, of the City Code: <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Martinsville, Virginia, in <br />regular session assembled June 23, 1992, that it does hereby amend <br />Chapter 13 Offenses--Miscellaneous, Section 13-40 Going-out-of-business <br />sale permits, Subsection (d) Duration; additional permits, of the City <br />Code, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
