TUESDAY, MARCH 31, 1992 <br />regarding the need for a trash can in front of a residence on Fayette <br />Street. The City Manager stated that he would review this issue. <br /> <br />Several citizens offered suggestions as to how the City could better <br />publicize the Town Meetings. The Mayor and City Manager stated that <br />this issue would be examined prior to the next Town Meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor McClain and the members of Council expressed appreciation to all <br />who attended the meeting and who voiced questions and opinions to the <br />Council. <br /> <br />In accordance with Section 2.1-344(A) of the CODE OF VIRGINIA (1950, <br />and as amended), and upon motion, duly seconded and carried by a <br />unanimous recorded vote, Council convened into Executive Session for <br />the purpose of considering the acquisition of real property for public <br />purposes, as authorized by Subsection 3. At the conclusion of this <br />Executive Session, Council reconvened into regular session, wherein, by <br />a recorded vote, each member of Council certified that (1) only public <br />business matters exempted from open meeting requirements were discussed <br />in said Executive Session; and (2) only those business matters <br />identified in the motion convening the Executive Session were heard, <br />discussed or considered during said Session. <br /> <br />Council took no action on this matter. <br /> <br />Mayor McClain then declared the meeting adjourned. <br /> <br /> Lance G.
