· Certification and redevelopment of various brownfield sites (i.e., Fayette St. truck
terminal site, Starling Ave. hospital site, Rives Road Industrial Park and old
Amedcan Furniture site) has been deleted. Our reapplication for an EPA
Brownfields Assessment Demonstration Pilot grant was unsuccessful. This
program is designed for large metropolitan, publicly owned sites.

· The Rails to Trails ISTEA project remains to reflect our continuing efforts on this
project. We have received Phase I approval for $75,000 and Phase II approval for
$280,000. We have finalized the contractual agreement with VDOT. We submitted-
our Phase III application for $205,000 in January. The total is unchanged at
$560,000

Priority 2 Projects

There were no changes in the Pdority 2 projects.

Priority 3 Projects

There were no changes in the Priority 3 projects.

As the WPPD reminds us the OEDP project list is necessary to maintain our positioning
for EDA funding. Also, the OEDP and its pdoritized project list will maintain our status
as a Redevelopment Area. Your review and consideration is appreciated.
