TUESDAY. JANUARY 14. 1992 <br />92. Mr. Heater reported that the anticipated revenue in the General <br />Fund has been reduced by $300,000; and, he further noted that, based on <br />the current estimate of. expenditures, the General Fund Surplus as of <br />6/30/92 is estimated to be $530,099. <br /> <br />Council was reminded of the Joint Council/School Board meeting to be <br />held January 27, 1992, at 2:00, in the School Board Room at Albert <br />Harris School. <br /> <br />Council was reminded of the Town Meeting scheduled for January 14, <br />1992, 7:30 p.m., at Clearview Elementary School. <br /> <br />Council accepted a report on Street Maintenance revenues from Mr. <br />Heater, who noted that maintenance payments would continue at the FY90- <br />91 and FY89-90 level, since a scheduled increase from the State of <br />approximately 5.2% did not occur. <br /> <br />Council accepted a notice of Special Council Meetings scheduled for <br />January 15-17, 1992 to conduct interviews with candidates for the <br />position of City Manager. <br /> <br />In accordance with Section 2.1-344(A) of .the CODE OF VIRGINIA (1950, <br />and as amended), and upon motion, duly seconded and carried by an <br />unanimous recorded vote, Council convened into Executive Session for <br />the purpose of considering (1) A nomination to the West Piedmont <br />Planning Districe commission Technical Advisory Committee for an at- <br /> <br /> <br />
