TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 1993 <br />during said Session~ <br /> <br />Council took no action on the first item discussed in Executive <br />Session. <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and by unanimous vote, Council approved an <br />appropriation from the-General Fund Industrial Development Authority <br />Reserve Account in the amount of $10,000 to be used by the City Manager <br />to fund activities of the Downtown Business Association during FY 93- <br />94. <br /> <br />Having completed the regular agenda, Mayor McClain declared the meeting <br />in recess. <br /> <br />The meeting was reconvened at 12:30 P.M. for the purpose of conducting <br />a tour of the City with the Administration. The following items were <br />included on the tour: (1) Prison Farm (discussion of proposed new <br />building at Prison Farm and other improvements); (2) Clearview/Liberty/ <br />Northside Intersection (traffic problems/signalization improvements); <br />(3) Rivermont Apartments (tour of Resource Center of apartment complex <br />with Warren Jackson); (4) Crestwood Court (possible abandonment of <br />alley adjacent to West End Park); (5) Endless/Coplay/Massey <br />Neighborhood (law enforcement problems and housing/community <br />development problems); (6) Dunlap Street (law enforcement problems); <br />(7) Moss/Church/Barton Neighborhood (housing/community development <br />problems); (8) Mulberry/Rives/Jefferson Intersection (traffic <br />problems); (9) Smith Lake Village (housing opportunities); and (10) <br />Stephens Street (housing opportunities). <br /> <br /> <br />
