18'0 <br /> <br />Executive <br />Session. <br /> <br />TUESDAY, OCTOBER 26, 1993 <br /> <br />(1) consultation with legal counsel, as authorized by Subsection 7; and <br />(2) possible use of real property for public use, as authorized by <br />Subsection 3. At the conclusion of this Executive Session, each member <br />of Council certified that (1) only public business matters exempt from <br />open meeting requirements were discussed in said Executive Session; and <br />(2) only those business matters identified in the motion convening the <br /> <br /> Session were heard, discussed or considered during said <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and by unanimous vote, Council authorized <br />the City Manager to execute a second amendment to the Option Agreement <br />dated May 2, 1991 between the Martinsville-Henry County Economic <br />Development Corporation, Promote Martinsville-Henry County, Inc., and <br />the City for a 9.2112 acre tract in the Martinsville Industrial Park <br />located adjacent to the Owens-Corning facility. The amendment, which <br />was requested by Owens-Corning, changes the initial option period from <br />two to four years and extends the period in which no option fee is to <br />be paid from three years to four years. <br /> <br />Council took no action on the other matter discussed in Executive <br />Session. <br /> <br />Mayor McClain then declared the meeting adjourned. <br /> <br />'~/~dG.
