TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 14',1993 <br />and scheduled the first meeting to be held September 28, 1993 at Albert <br />Harris School. <br /> <br />In accordance with the CODE OF VIRGINIA (1950, and as amended) and upon <br />motion, duly seconded and by unanimous recorded vote, Council convened <br />into Executive Session for the purpose of discussing the following: <br />(1) appointments to the Transportation Safety Commission, as authorized <br />by Subsection 1; (2) appointments to the Industrial Development <br />Authority, as authorized by Subsection 1; (3) a personnel matter under <br />the jurisdiction of Council, as authorized by Subsection 1; (4) <br />consultation with legal counsel, as authorized by Subsection 7; and (5) <br />possible acquisition of real property for public purposes, as <br />authorized by Subsection 3. At the conclusion of this Executive <br />Session, each member of Council certified that (1) only public business <br />matters exempt from open meeting requirements were discussed in said <br />Executive Session; and (2) only those business matters identified in <br />the motion convening the Executive Session were heard, discussed or <br />considered during said Session. <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and by unanimous vote, Council reappointed <br />William F. Moorefield, IV, 1807 E. Church Street ExtensionApt. 905 and <br />appointed Latoshua R. Harris, 935 Blankenship Road #15 to the <br />Transportation Safety Commission as student members for the 1993-94 <br />School Year. <br /> <br />Council took no action on the other items discussed in Executive <br />Session. <br /> <br />There being no other matters to come before the Council, Mayor McClain <br /> <br /> <br />
