163 <br /> TUESDAY, OCTOBER 25, 1994 <br /> <br />Transportation Safety Commission, as authorized by Subsection 1; (2) an <br />appointment to the Martinsville-Henry County Economic Development <br />Corporation Board, as authorized by Subsection 1; (3) investment of <br />public funds, as authorized by Subsection 6; (4) possible purchase of <br />property for public use, as authorized by Subsection 3; (5) possible <br />sale of public property, as authorized by Subsection 3; and (6) a <br />personnel matter, as authorized by Subsection 1. At the conclusion of <br />this Executive Session, each member of Council certified that (1) only <br />public business matters exempt from open meeting requirements were <br />discussed in said Executive Session; and (2) only those business <br />matters identified in the motion convening the Executive Session were <br />heard, discussed or considered during said Session. <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and by unanimous vote, Council reappointed <br />Latoshua Harris, 935 Blankenship Road, Apt. 15, and appointed Whir <br />Althizer, 26 Stafford Circle, to the Transportation Safety Commission <br />as student members for the 1994-95 School Year. <br /> <br />Council took no action on Item #2 discussed in Executive Session. <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and by unanimous vote, Council authorized <br />the City Manager to execute an agreement with the Pannill Foundation <br />and William G. Pannill for the purchase of property located at 100 Moss <br />Street, known as the old Dodge property, for $49,500. The purchase <br />price will be paid in equal installments on January 1, 1995 and January <br />1, 1996, with funds being authorized from the General Fund Industrial <br />Development Authority Reserves. City Manager Reynolds noted that the <br />building would be used for storage for both the City and the City <br />Schools. <br /> <br /> <br />
