The ordinance would also provide that a <br />violation may not be discharged by payment of a fine except upon <br />presentation of satisfactory evidence that the required license has <br />been obtained. Upon motion, duly seconded and by unanimous vote, <br />Council authorized the Mayor to execute the Agreement. <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and by unanimous vote, Council approved, on <br />first reading, Ordinance No. 94-6 amending Article III, Section 12-55 <br />of the City Code. The proposed Ordinance would enact the legislation <br />described in the regional Agreement regarding enforcement of local <br />motor vehicle requirements. <br /> <br />Council deferred until the July 26 Council meeting final consideration <br />of establishing the day and time for Council's regular meetings as well <br />as dates and locations for quarterly Neighborhood Town Meetings for FY <br />94-95 in order to allow for input from interested citizens. Mayor <br />Adams suggested that Council schedule its regular meetings for the <br />second and fourth Tuesdays at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and by unanimous vote, Council set public <br />hearings for July 26, 1994 on the following matters: (1) an amendment <br />to Section XVI--Board of Zoning Appeals, Paragraph A--Re-establishment; <br />Compensation; Appointment and Terms of Members, of the Zoning <br />Ordinance; (2) a request by residents of Crestwood Court and Cardinal <br />Lane to close an abandoned 20-foot alley located on the south side of <br />Crestwood Court; and (3) a request by Darrell E. Campbell to rezone Lot <br />37 at 906-1/2 Bob Gregory Street, from R-9 Residential to C-3 <br />Commercial. <br /> <br /> <br />
