TUESDAY, JULY ll, ~995 <br /> <br />V.M. Draper facility on Jackson Street and the Multi-Trade facility on <br />Lester Street; Mr. Willjams had previously brouSht this matter to <br />Council's attention and Mr. Reynolds stated the State air pollution <br /> <br />control officials had investiSated; Mr. Reynolds said he would further <br /> <br />review this matter. <br /> <br />In accordance with Section 2.1-344 (A) of the CODE OF VIRGINIA (1950, <br />and as amended) and upon motion, duly seconded and by unanimous <br />recorded vote, Council convened into Executive Session for the purpose <br />of discussing the following matters: (1) appointments to the Dan River <br />Alcohol Safety Action Program Policy Board, as authorized by Subsection <br />1; (2) the possible disposition of City-owned property, as authorized <br />by Subsection 3; and (3) consultation with legal counsel, as authorized <br />by Subsection 7. At the conclusion of this Executive Session, each <br />member of Council certified that (1) only public business matters <br />exempt from open meeting requirements were discussed in said Executive <br />Session; and (2) only those business matters identified in the motion <br />convening the Executive Session were heard, discussed or considered <br />during said Session. <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and by unanimous vote, Council appointed <br />David Ashwell, 1803 Sam Lions Trail, to an unexpired term ending <br />4/12/97 on the Dan River Alcohol Safety Action Program Policy Board. <br /> <br />Council took no action on the other matters discussed in Executive <br />Session. <br /> <br />LZ.
