(City Departments, <br /> <br /> TUESDAY, MARCH 28, 1995 <br /> <br /> (Refuse Fund); April 12, <br />Constitutional Officers); <br /> <br />April 13, 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 Noon (School Board); April 21, 9:00 A.M. - <br />12:00 Noon (outside agencies); April 24, 1:30 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. (City <br />Departments). <br /> <br />Council acknowledged a financial report for the month ending February <br />28, 1995. <br /> <br />In accordance with Section 2.1-344 (A) of the CODE OF VIRGINIA (1950, <br />and as amended) and upon motion, duly seconded and by unanimous <br />recorded vote, Council convened into Executive Session for the purpose <br />of discussing the following matters: (1) the possible disposition of <br />City-owned property, as authorized by Subsection 3; (2) consultation <br />with legal counsel, as authorized by Subsection 7; (3) the possible <br />disposition of City-owned property, as authorizedby Subsection 3; (4) <br />an appointment to the Martinsville-Henry County Action Council, as <br />authorized by Subsection 1; and (5) consultation with legal counsel, as <br />authorized by Subsection 7. At the conclusion of this Executive <br />Session, each member of Council certified that (1) only public business <br />matters exempt from open meeting requirements were discussed in said <br />Executive Session; and (2) only those business matters identified in <br />the motion convening the Executive Session were heard, discussed or <br />considered during said Session. <br /> <br />Regarding Item #1, upon motion, duly seconded and by unanimous vote, <br />Council requested the Planning Commission to draft appropriate changes <br />to the City's Zoning Ordinance in order to allow for the development of <br />a Clearview Drive Business Park on 70+ acres of land located adjacent <br /> <br /> <br />
