TUESDAY, DECEMBER 12. 1995 <br /> <br />counsel, as authorized by Subsection 7; (2) the possible acquisition of <br />real property for public purposes, as authorized by Subsection 3; (3) <br />consultation with legal counsel, as authorized by Subsection 7; and (4) <br />possible acquisition of property for public use, as authorized by <br />Subsection 3. At the conclusion of this Executive Session, each member <br />of Council certified that (1) only public business matters exempt from <br />open meeting requirements were discussed in said Executive Session; and <br />(2) only those business matters identified in the motion convening the <br />Executive Session were heard, discussed or considered during said <br />Session. <br /> <br />Council took no action on matters 1 and 4 discussed in Executive <br />Session. <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and by unanimous vote, Council authorized <br />the City Manager to execute a deed to purchase property located at 10 <br />N. Barton Street from Martha King for $17,000 and approved a <br />supplemental appropriation from the Electric Fund unexpended fund <br />balance for this purpose. <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and by unanimous vote, Council authorized <br />amendments to the bylaws of the Patrick Henry Development Council as <br />earlier approved by the PHDC Board and the Henry County Board of <br />Supervisors. <br /> <br />There being noother business to come before the Council, Mayor Adams <br /> <br />declared the meeting ad3ourned. <br /> <br />~Heater, Clerk <br /> <br />of Council. <br /> <br /> <br />
