Vice-Mayor Te~ue then compl~ented st~ on the good work <br />done on the shell building ~tiative. <br /> <br />Mayor Crabtree then advised Council that an effort was underway to provide all Council Members with <br />facsimile copy capability at their homes, so as to improve Council communications. He indicated that the <br />ultimate goal was to provide laptop computers to all the Members at some point in the future. He then <br />demonstrated his laptop computer for the benefit of those present. <br /> <br />Assistant City Manager Dewey P. Cashwell advised Council that a solicitation for bids on improvements at <br />the Hooker Field Baseball Park was underway, and that he would advise Council of the results when they <br />came in. <br /> <br />There being no further business the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />Assistant City Manager and Clerk of Conncil <br /> <br /> <br />
