TUESDAY, AUGUST 11, 1998 <br />Subparagraph (16) which would require an engineering report documenting the feasibility of collocation <br /> <br />of antennas on existing telecommunication pads, to accompany the building permit application, if the <br />prorider did not want to collocate antennas on existing telecommunicafion pads. He stated this would <br />encourage collocation, which actually is a more cost-effective measure than locating in a new area. <br />Council Members agreed with this proposed addition and commended City Staff and the Planning <br />Commission for acting on this in a timely manner. Mayor Crabtree opened the Public Hearing and asked <br />if anyone wished to speak regarding this issue. There being no comments, the Mayor dosed the Public <br />Hearing. Upon motion by Council Member Dallas, second by Council Member Haskell, and unanimous <br />vote (5-Ayes--Crabtree, Teague, Dallas, Haskell and Roop; 0-Nayes), Council approved Ordinance No. <br />98-10 on first reading. <br /> <br />1.23 <br /> <br /> The next item on the Agenda was postponed until Council' s next meeting on August 25--that <br />being a request by the Patrick Henry Development Council to present its Annual Report and Marketing <br />Plan. Ms. Sherry Ramsey, Executive Director of the PHDC, was unable to attend due to a last minute <br />scheduling conflict. <br /> <br /> Director of Finance Wade Bartlett presented the list of appropriations and reappropriations of <br />funds for the FY97~98 and FY98-99 Budgets. Upon motion by Council Member Dallas, second by <br />Council Member Roop, and unanimous approval (5-Ayes---Crabtree, Teague, Dallas, Haskell and l~.oop; <br />0-Nayes), Council adopted the attached list--$4,825,249 in reappropriations from FY97-98 to the FY98- <br />99 Budget; $79,586 in appropriations to the FY98-99 Budget; and $11,059 in appropriations to the FY97- <br />98 Budget. <br /> <br /> Upon motion by Council Member Haskell, second by Council Member Dallas, and unanimous <br />approval (5-Ayes--Crabtree, Teague, Dallas, Haskell and Roop; 0-Nayes), Council accepted $1,392.84 <br /> <br /> <br />
