TUESDAY, APRIL 14, 1998 <br />than the finish of the work at the W. M. Bassat site on Rives Road. Mayor Adams stated that he is an advocate <br /> <br />of a phased program approach. Upon motion duly seconded and by unanimous vote, Council adopted, on an <br />emergency basis, an Authorization and Reimbursement Ordinance, (attached and made a part of these Minutes), <br />introduced a Note Ordinance, and set a Public Hearing on the Note Ordinance, to be held April 28, 1998. <br /> <br />Council next considered authorizing the appropriation of $122,000 for Professional Services for the Albert <br /> <br />Harris School renovation project, said funds to be used for architectural and engineering design work. Upon <br />motion duly seconded and by unanimous vote, Council approved the appropriation of $122,000 from the <br />Unexpended Fund Balance of the Meals Tax Fund--02-950800-5805000--Contfibution to Fund Balance for <br />expenditure in 02-950800-300201 O--Professional Services/Albert Harris of the Meals Tax Fund. <br /> <br />Council Member Teague noted that this type of expenditure had been the intent of the use of the funds from the <br />Meals Tax revenues. In response to a question from Coundl Member Haskell, Mr. Reynolds stated that the <br />work on the Albert Harris project was moving along on schedule. <br /> <br />211 <br /> <br />Council next considered the Consent A4genda and, upon motion duly seconded and by unanimous vote, <br /> <br />approved the following: <br /> <br /> Accepted $4,651.83 from State Forfeited Asset Funds into Revenue Account 01'000500'2404000- <br /> Confiscated Assets/State for Expenditure in Account 01-310100-5415007--State Asset Forfeitures, in <br /> the Police Department' s budget in the General Fund. <br /> <br />Under items not on the Agenda, the following items were discussed: <br /> <br />Council Member Haskell asked Ms. Gloria Hylton about progress on her tree planting project. Ms. Hylton <br />replied that the State Department of Forestry had been contacted and was very excited about the project. Ms. <br />Hylton also noted that they would be meeting with an official from that organization on April 16, Arbor Day, <br /> <br /> <br />
