TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 1998 <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINleD by the Council of the City of Martinsville, Virginia, in regular session assembled <br />February 24, 1998, that it does hereby amend the City's Terms and Conditions for Electric Service, as kept on <br />file in the City Manager's Office, Second Floor, Room 216, 55 West Church Street, Martinsville, VA 24114; <br />and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that this document is adopted on an emergency basis and shall become <br />effective March 1, 1998. <br /> <br />Council next considered adoption, on second reading, Ordinance No. 98-3, mending the City's Terms and <br />Conditions for Water & Sewer Service. Mr. Bartlett noted that he had received no public comment on these <br />proposed amendments. The Mayor suggested that it would be helpful to number the pages of the Terms and <br />Conditions document, which Mr. Bartlett noted. Upon motion duly seconded, and by unanimous vote, <br />Council adopted the following on an emergency basis: <br /> <br />CI~ OF MARTINSVILLE, VIRGINIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 98-3 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there is a need to update the City's Terms and Conditions for Water and Sewer Service in an <br />effort to provide efficient service to its citizens; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Martinsville, Virginia, in regular session assembled <br />February 24, 1998, that it does hereby amend the City's Terms and Conditions for Water and Sewer Service, <br />as kept on file in the City Manager's Office, Second Floor, 55 West Church Street, Martinsville, VA 24114; <br />and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that this document is adopted on an emergency basis and shall become <br />effective March 1, 1998. <br /> <br />Council next considered adoption, on second reading, of Ordinance No. 98-4, related to the franchising of <br />Cable Television Services within the City.
