194 <br /> TUESDAY, IUNE24,1997 <br /> <br /> of discussing the following matters: Two personnel matters under the <br /> jurisdiction of the Council, as authorized by Subsection 1. At the <br /> conclusion of this executive session each member of Council certified <br /> that (1) only public business matters exempt from open meeting <br /> requirements were discussed in said Executive Session; and (2) only <br /> those business <br /> <br />matters identified in the motion convening the Executive Session were <br />heard, discussed or considered during said Session. <br /> <br />Upon motion, duly seconded and by unanimous vote, Council authorized <br />continuation of City Attorney David B. Worthy's service for one year. <br />In addition, Council asked City Manager Reynolds to search within his <br />staff for an appointment to Clerk of Council, (current Clerk of Coun- <br />cil Lance G. Heater having resigned effective June 30, 1997), and make <br />a recommendation for this position to Council as soon as possible. <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before the Council, Mayor <br />Adams declared the meeting adjourned. <br /> <br />De Acting Clerk of <br /> <br />Council <br /> <br /> <br />
