<br />from the Virginia DHCD for the implementation of a conservation plan. After a <br /> <br />brief explanation from Wayne Knox, Council Member Lawson moved that <br /> <br />Council approve the request from the Town of Stuart; the motion was duly <br /> <br />Yeas: (4) Clark, Anderson, Ferrill, Lawson. Nays: (0) None. Absent (1) <br /> <br />Reynolds. Council Member Anderson moved that Council approve the request <br /> <br />from the City of Galax, the motion was duly seconded and carried by the <br /> <br />following vote, all members voting: Vote: 4-0. Yeas: (4) Clark, Anderson, <br /> <br />Ferrill, Lawson. Nays: (0) None. Absent (1). Council then recessed and <br /> <br />County Economic Development Corporation. He distributed a sample of <br /> <br />current marketing materials and indicated there would be a media event in <br /> <br />conjunction with the Speedway just prior to the April race.
