<br />March 13, 2007 <br /> <br />Brenda Prillaman, Customer Service Coordinator, gave the presentation <br /> <br />of the quarterly neighborhood focus report for the Northside/Chatham Heights <br /> <br />area. <br /> <br />After brief comments by Wayne Knox, Council Member Lawson made a <br /> <br />motion to advertise a public hearing for March 27 to close and abandon a <br /> <br />portion of an unopened IS-foot alley between North Memorial Boulevard and <br /> <br />Lavinder Street; the motion was duly seconded and carried by the following <br /> <br />vote, all members voting: Vote: 4-0. Yeas: (4) Clark, Anderson, Ferrill, Lawson. <br /> <br />Nays: (0) None. Absent (1) Reynolds. <br /> <br />John Dyches, Water Resources Director, gave comments concernIng a <br /> <br />Resolution that Council needs to adopt authorizing the West Piedmont <br /> <br />Planning District Commission to submit an application to DEQ for water <br /> <br /> <br />supply planning grant funds and to develop a regional plan meeting mandated <br /> <br /> <br />regulatory requirements. The item will be placed on the next agenda for action. <br /> <br /> <br />City Manager Robert Collins explained to Council the need to adopt a <br /> <br />Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement with AMP- <br /> <br />Ohio concerning the future purchase of power. This will replace the current <br /> <br />Resolutioh we have on file with them and he requested that Council authorize <br /> <br />the City Manager or the Assistant City Manager, either of whom may act in the <br /> <br />other's absence. The Resolution will be considered at Council's next meeting. <br />
