TUESDAY JANUARY 27, 1953 .- We, the undersigned viewers, pursuant to order of the Council of the City of Martinsville, Virginia, appointing the undersigned to view certain street proposed to be discontinued lying in the City of Martinsville, Virginia, more particularly described as folloVTS: That certain street lying between Lots #5 and #6 and the Church lot as shown on a map of Chatham Heights, pre- pared by Moore and Trent, Surveyors, September, 1938, of record in the Clerk IS Office of the Circuit Court of Henry County in Map Book 2, page 34, which street is not n3.!red and which street has a fifty foot opening on the Northerly side of Route #57 in said City and forks a distance of approximately 85 feet from said Route #57 into u~o thirty-foot street, the portion of said streets to be abandoned being the portion running between the highway and the fork and the forked streets running from said fork in a Northwesterly and a Southwest- erly direction, respectively, to the rear of the property line of said Church property, and, Whereas, the signed viewers have viewed the premises and the street proposed to be discontinued, and it appearing that there is no land owner abutting said street who objects to the discontinuance of said streets proposed to be discontinued, the said viewers do report that no inconvenience will result from the closing of said street. Henderson, Jr. We, the undersigned, being all of the property owners abutting upon or adjoining the streets shm'ffi on a map of Chatham Heights, which streets pass between Lots #5 and #6 and the Church lot, do hereby consent to the closing of the fifty-foot street and the two thirty-foot streets which are branches thereof by the Congregation of the Chatham Heights Baptist Church. We further consent to the use of this instrument as evidence before the Council of the City of Martinsville of our waiver of a~r objection to such closing.
